Movie Analysis - Bullshit

To sit in a group and discuss a movie kills the whole point of the movie.

I don’t think movies are a made for such an exercise. If I make a movie today, it only means I make a movie today. I release it tomorrow, you either see it or you don’t. You like it or you don’t. You, along with a few, thinking about how and why I made the movie the way the movie was made, why I didn’t make the movie the way it should have been made etc., doesn’t make sense. I mean, when 4 of you discuss a movie, it’s not a rare case that one of you dislikes the movie and makes his point and then, makes other people to ponder on that point. Point is you don’t ponder. You watch and get the movie that’s it.

What you get after the discussion is not what you are supposed to get. The movie is for one-time watch. If you watch the movie again, irrelevant to whether you liked it the first or not, you are committing a sin against yourself and the pleasure of watching a movie, of course. It’s like the second bite you give to that Pizza. It’s not the same. Not after the first bite.
